Hello!
Hi there! I'm Sarah. I am a lifestyle, branding and fashion photographer living in Hastings, East Sussex. I photograph in both film and digital and would say the film aesthetic really influences my style - nostalgic & timeless and also romantic & emotive. There's also nothing that I enjoy more than capturing the connection shared between loved ones in photograph form!
I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada where I graduated in Environmental Studies and later in Fashion Design. I have worked for well known Canadian fashion designers, Greta Constantine, as well as ran my own clothing line of womenswear dresses named Act Three Apparel. After moving to the seaside town of Hastings with my husband and having our daughter, I rediscovered my absolute passion for photography.
My background in fashion design has inspired me to also work in kidswear and womenswear fashion photography. I have recently photographed and styled campaigns for Ira & lsla Baby and Kids and House of Margaux which have both won Silver at the Junior Design Awards! My work has appeared in Vogue, Anon Fashion Kids and CWB Magazine.
I also love supporting UK businesses and have become more and more involved in personal branding photography. If you have a small independent business and are looking for some photographs that really embody your brand ethos, I'm your girl!
A few things about me, I believe in fate and making magic, I love visual art, dream pop and Japanese dating shows. During my time off you would find me visiting National Trust properties with my family, watching old pretty films that probably have no substance and dreaming up ways to hold fancy dress parties with flowing champagne.
